New artwork celebrating Hendon unveiled on Rookery Way
Barnet and Southgate College teams up with L&Q to design new artwork for display at The Rushgroves
On Friday 1st June, the new Deputy Mayor of Barnet Caroline Stock, along with 36 students from Barnet and Southgate College, unveiled new artwork designed to celebrate the best of Hendon and the surrounding area.
The hidden gems of Hendon: Parks and green open spaces
Living in Hendon means you can relax and unwind from city life by enjoying an array of open green spaces. In fact, The Rushgroves design is inspired by the natural ecology of the local area – its apartment building facades emulate the form and layering of the reeds found in the local Silk Stream and the Welsh Harp.
